Les Hirondelles holiday cottages are on the edge of the peaceful, pretty hamlet of Le Cros, where nothing much moves apart from the occasional tractor. Nestling in a sheltered valley of chestnut and pine forests in the Ambazac hills of the Limousin region of South West France, this is the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday.
Originally built in 1800, our two self catering cottages with private swimming pool have been tastefully renovated to provide comfortable holiday accommodation without losing the charm of their original features. They adjoin the main farmhouse where we are always on hand to help you get the most from your holiday in this beautiful region.

Both of our holiday cottages have a television and DVD player and receive all of the BBC and ITV channels.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and there is also a large shared freezer and washing machine and ironing facilities. The cottages are comfortably furnished, not with antiques - so you can relax if you have young children!

We also hire out towel sets if you are travelling by air and want to make the most of your luggage allowance.

Each of the cottages has its own barbecue and garden furniture in addition to that in the main garden area, so you can choose where you want to barbecue and eat.

The swimming pool is situated in the main enclosed garden area with, boules court, table tennis, badminton and childrens swings. The pool area has a security fence and a pool alarm to provide security for young children. There is also a barbecue area (in addtition to your private barbecues) if you wish to eat by the pool. The pool and garden area is well supplied with garden furniture and sun loungers so there is no need to reserve sunbeds or that favourite spot around the pool!

The gazebo gives welcome shade from the sun and is also the ideal spot for those long evening dinners under the stars which usually come to an end when the wine runs out!
